EASIEST WHOLE FOOD SPICED CRANBERRY SAUCE
The easiest cranberry sauce spiced for the holidays. Naturally sweetened, simply homemade.

- Ingredients
- 4, 10 oz packages fresh cranberries can use frozen, too!
- 2 cups water or juice (apple or orange are nice)
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 4 TBS orange juice concentrate if using water instead of juice, optional
- 1 ceylon cinnamon stick like these, or 2 tsp ground
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1 cup honey maple syrup, or sucanut sugar
Directions
Place all ingredients in a medium pot on the stove. Bring to a simmer over medium heat. Cook until berries pop.
Depending on desired texture, use an immersion blender or potato masher to achieve a smooth or textured sauce. Simmer 20 min or until desired consistency is reached. Sauce will thicken slightly as it cools.
