Cherry-Lime Chia Squeeze Recipe

Ingredients You Need

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups frozen fruit blended; or unsweetened fruit juice*
  • ¼ cup lemon or lime juice - optional
  • ¼ cup organic chia seeds
  • sweetener of choice - optional (I use 2 tbl honey or stevia to taste
  • if needed)

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients in a bowl or mason jar.
  • Let sit in the refrigerator several hours or overnight so that the chia seeds can hydrate and create a natural gel.
  • Pour into silicone pouches and serve! Store in the fridge.

Notes

*You can use straight juice and omit the water. For our family, I rarely buy juice. I prefer to use fruit. This way I can control the amount of natural sugar. I also love to use unsweetened, flavored sparkling water to kick up the flavors!
