SOURDOUGH WRAPS

Need a sandwich wrap that's fast and healthy?  This no-wait sourdough recipe is just what you need.  Soft and pliable, they are the perfect sourdough sandwich wrap for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sourdough starter doesn’t need to have been recently fed or in domed/bubbly state
  • 3 eggs or egg whites for THM-E
  • 3 Tablespoons melted fat like butter, coconut oil, tallow, etc.
  • 3 pinches of sea salt or can omit if using butter. We like salt around here 😉

Instructions

  • Preheat cast iron skillets with a little grease on Medium-Low.
  • Whisk all the ingredients together in a large bowl.
  • Once heated, pour 1/4 cup batter into skillet. Quickly spread batter around with the back of spoon. Cook the wraps until the edges start to lift and bubbles dot the surface. This happens fast, maybe less than a minute! Gently release the wrap by using a metal spatula and turn over. The other side will take less time to cook.
